Maryland Chicken Wing Festival Sauce Competition

Do you have a really creative chicken wing sauce recipe that’s simply amazing? Consider competing in the Maryland Chicken Wing Festival’s “Most Creative Amateur Maryland Chicken Wing Sauce Recipe Contest.” Enter the contest using the form below.

If selected, you will need to bring all of your own ingredients, mixing bowls, serving trays, utensils and all other items you may need (except chicken wings which will be provided) to the competition. Cost is $20 which includes your entry fee and 2 tickets to the festival.

A panel of five local celebrities and sponsor representatives will taste test your recipe. Their decision is final. You will prepare your sauce onstage and then sauce six chicken wings. Each contestant will then proceed to the judge’s area to show off their decorated tray of wings. Your presentation of wings will be taken into consideration. You will then personally serve each judge one chicken wing each.

One winner will be selected. The winner will receive bragging rights.

Contestant/Independent Vendor/Exhibitor Indemnity Clause

Contestant/Exhibitor agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ABC Events, Inc., its owners, members, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) (collectively, "Claims") for injuries or death to persons, or damage to property, occasioned by, relating to, or arising out of any intentional or negligent acts or omissions by Contestant/Exhibitor, its agents, employees, contractors, volunteers or representatives, or claims or costs arising out of, occasioned by, or relating to the enforcement of this paragraph, including attorney's fees. Contestant/Exhibitor shall insure its own personal property during the Festival and hereby waives any and all Claims against the Indemnified Parties for any loss or damage to any personal property of Contestant/Exhibitor for any reason, which waiver shall also constitute a waiver of subrogation binding upon Contestant's/Exhibitor's Insurers.
